Botox

Botox is a common procedure to reduce the look of lines and wrinkles.

More men get Botox than any other procedure. It’s injected into your face and neck to treat lines. The goal is to make your skin look smoother and more refreshed. Botox is often used to soften crow's feet, forehead creases, and band lines in the neck. It also may help with migraines, heavy sweating, and muscle spasms in your neck and around your eyes.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is a procedure that can permanently remove unwanted hair.

Say goodbye to a furry back or chest. This method passes laser or light beams through your skin to damage hair follicles. Strands usually grow back finer and sometimes lighter. The more treatments you have, usually the less you'll see. Light-skinned patients with dark hair often get the best results. Lasers can be used nearly everywhere, including underarms and legs.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion reduces the look of age spots, fine lines, and other skin imperfections.

This "power peel" gently sands your skin. It's used to lighten age spots and wrinkles, acne scars, fine lines, and other skin issues. It works by spraying tiny crystals on the skin to remove the flaking, uneven outer layer. Your skin may be slightly pink after a treatment. You may notice a difference right away, but you'll likely need a few sessions to really see a big change.

Soft Tissue Fillers

Fillers can be used to give the face a more youthful appearance.

As you age, your face loses some of the fat, bone, and muscle layers under your skin. Wrinkles are easier to see when you no longer have that fullness. Your doctor can inject one of many types of fillers into your skin to plump it back up. These include collagen, hyaluronic acid, and synthetic products. They can also make scars look better. You should see results right away with most fillers.

Chemical Peel

Chemical peels remove the top layers of skin revealing healthy, younger-looking skin underneath.

This treatment uses a chemical solution to remove damaged outer layers of skin. It should help smooth fine lines and wrinkles. It may also be able to reduce age spots, scars, and blotches. Peels can be light, medium, or deep depending on how many layers of skin they take off. They’re most often used on the face, but can also be applied to any area with sun damage, like your neck and hands.

Laser Skin Resurfacing

Laser skin resurfacing removes damaged layers of skin so that healthier skin can emerge.

Also known as a laser peel, this is a newer plastic surgery technique. A surgeon removes damaged skin one layer at a time with a targeted laser. It's used to treat fine lines or wrinkles, acne scars, birthmarks, and brown spots. Laser peels are sometimes used together with facelifts or eyelifts. /p>

Nose Surgery

Rhinoplasty is surgical alteration of the nose for cosmetic or functional purposes or both.

Rhinoplasty changes your nose's size, shape, or both. It can get rid of bumps in the middle or a reshape the tip. The surgery can also make a nose straighter or smaller. It can help you breathe better if there’s a problem with the structure of your nose. It can take as long as a year for swelling to go down, but the changes in how you look are often dramatic.

Eyelid Surgery

Eyelid surgery can create a more youthful appearance.

Signs of aging often show up around your eyes long before you spot them in other places on your body. As skin ages, it can sag, causing your eyelids to look droopy. This "lift" removes extra skin around the upper or lower lid, or both. It also gets rid of extra fat that can cause puffy areas under your eyes.

Laser Treatment for Spider Veins

A doctor can use laser therapy to remove spider veins.

These small red, blue, or purple veins lie just under your skin. Though you might have them other places, they appear most often on the legs. Laser treatment heats them up and destroys them. It works best on small blood vessels. Sometimes this method is used together with a process called sclerotherapy, where doctors inject a chemical solution into the veins, making them collapse.

Liposuction

Liposuction removes unwanted fat to sculpt areas of the body.

This treatment uses a small hollow tube connected to a suction machine to remove body fat. It also can sculpt your physique, sometimes along with other procedures. Liposuction is also used to treat a condition in men and teen boys where breasts can grow large.

Breast Reduction

Breast reduction may be performed in men using liposuction or surgery.

Sometimes genetics, obesity, or certain meds cause enlarged breasts in men. Surgery can remove the extra fat and tissue to make a flatter, firmer chest. Sometimes liposuction can get the job done. Results usually last unless you gain a lot of weight or take certain medicines.

Facelift

Facelifts tighten sagging skin and reduce the appearance of deep skin folds.

This surgery eases signs of aging in your face and neck. It tightens sagging skin and smooths deep folds. It treats deep creases and loose skin that may cause jowls or a double chin. About 1 in 10 people who get facelifts are men. There are different types, including a "mini" facelift. It often takes months for swelling to fully go down from any “lift” procedure.

Hair Transplant

A hair transplant involves removing hair from the back of the head and implanting it into areas that are thinning.

This process can add hair to a bald spot or areas that are thinning. First a surgeon takes small sections of strands, usually from the back of your head. Then they place them into the balding areas. It may take a few sessions and a few months for your hair to look fuller.
