Pallavi Suyog Uttekar, MD
Pallavi Uttekar, MD, is a board-certified clinician in human physiology. She has also completed certifications in the management of diabetes mellitus and the thyroid.
Dr. Uttekar treats patients with diabetes mellitus and associated co-morbidities, including hypertension and renal dysfunction associated with diabetes.
When Dr. Uttekar received her MD, she was awarded the prestigious Dharani Scholarship for graduating with the best grades in her class in 2012. She has also completed her MBBS with excellent grades.
In the last few years, Dr. Uttekar has been actively involved in practicing family medicine with a special interest in longitudinal management of diabetes and its complications. She was also involved in industrial health and safety management of workers, visiting multiple factories and plants.
She has worked as a health coach for many corporations, tackling the psychosomatic basis of diseases and lifestyle disorders like hypertension, diabetes, and polycystic ovarian syndrome. She has successfully tackled many patient issues with counseling, lifestyle modification, and early medical intervention where required.
Dr. Uttekar has been involved in clinical research on exercise physiology and hypertension. She has authored papers on cardiovascular endurance and fat distribution, and the effects of exercise on various physiological parameters.
